Start clearing your flat surfaces. For example, if you have a kitchen counter or table that you cannot see because the mail (or anything else) piles up then start there. Just make sure you take the items and give them a home and not start another pile somewhere else. Once the flat surface is cleared make a commitment to keep it that way.
Don't forget the workshop Sunday March 13th we will be going over paper clutter.
Live Life Simply
I have found that life shouldn't be lived to accumulate things but lived as a verb.

Reschedule Workshops
I'm rescheduling both workshops due to the fact that several people want to come but are working.
Both workshops will be this Sunday March 13th. The organizing workshop will be from 2:00 - 3:00. The kitchen workshop will be from 3:15 - 4:45. Light refreshments served.
Each workshop is still $10.00 but if you want to attend both then it's $15.00 for both.
There will be a drawing at the end for all that attended.
I hope to see you there because I think it will be very informative. The workshops will give you information to save time, money and make your life easier (so you can spend more time with your family or what ever you want to do with your time).
The organization workshop will give some general tips. Then we will go over getting your paper and computer files under control and keeping them that way.
The kitchen workshop will give great tips and ideas on organizing your kitchen. Tips on ways to making cooking faster, better and more cost effective. Lastly, we will talk a little about using coupons to save money without spending a lot of time.
Please RSVP so I know how many to expect. If you have any questions you can post here, email at karenecook@cox.net or call me at 362-6187.
It's been awhile since I've seen some of you so I look forward to this.
FINAL NOTE: IF YOU BRING 2 OTHER GUESTS WITH YOU YOUR FEE IS WAIVED AND YOUR NAME GOES IN THE DRAWING AN ADDITIONAL TIME.

Coupon Help and Saving Money$$$$$$$$$$$$
These are some of the websites I go to for coupons. I've signed up where they send me emails. Once a week I print and clip my coupons. I have a master grocery shopping list and just mark off what I need.
This might sound time consuming but it's not because I do it while I watch my favorite tv programs. Yes, this is one time I multi-task and it helps me not feel so guilty about watching tv.

I'd love to hear from you with any sites you might have for saving money.
PS I'm bringing my extra coupons that I don't need to the Kicking Kitchen Clutter Workshop and Swap Meet

Mason Jars (what to do with them?)
I don't remember where I came up with idea of using mason jars as storage but I love it. I hold my pasta, rice, beans and (in this case) pancake mix. When I come home from the grocery store I take everything out of their boxes and bags and put in mason jars. I'm able to see what I have and throw the boxes and bags away. I use the grocery bags as trash bags so I'm able to save on trash bags. This also keeps these items organized and I'm not finding rice all over my pantry. The mason jars are stored in shelving attached to door.
Hope someone else finds this idea as great as I have.

Multi Tasking
Watched a Dr. Phil show on stress. One of the things he mentioned was always multi tasking can contribute to stress.
This is something that I have finally figured out. Try not multi tasking for a day and see how it works for you. Let me know what you find out.
FYI I do multi task while watching tv and clipping coupons.
